Workshop concept
The workshop aims to sensitise Chinese and German students to intercultural differences in building personal and professional networks in Germany and China and thus improve their ability to establish professional contacts in an international context.
The workshop includes an interactive introduction to relevant cultural and communication theories, group work, presentation of the group work results and a final plenary discussion. Mixed Japanese-German groups will be formed for the group work phase.
Target group
Japanese students of the Centre for German and European Studies (DESK) at the University of Tokyo, Komaba as well as German students and young academics who are interested in the exchange with Japanese students and are willing to contribute their own - intercultural - experiences to the workshop.
