iQ! Bonn offers a variety of practice-oriented workshops for German and international students and scientists. The focus of our offer is on introductions to Chinese and Japanese (scientific) culture and intercultural communication.

• Introduction to German, Chinese and Japanese (scientific) culture and intercultural communication
• Workshops on intercultural sensitisation and diversity management
• Workshops to strengthen China competence in Germany
• Workshops on utilising intercultural experience as a professional resource
• Workshops on the effective use of AI tools in academic work

The introduction provides an initial insight into the culture and languages of China. In particular, practical aspects that participants need for their personal dealings with Chinese students or cooperation partners are also taken into account: how do you pronounce Chinese names, for example, and what is the significance of "Golden Week"?

The workshop aims to sensitise Japanese students in Germany to cultural differences in communication and thus contribute to the development of their cultural action and communication skills.
